An amalgam of 5 very diverse individuals, Away From Now have spent the three years of their life polishing and re-polishing all facets of their music, while playing along side bands such as Hot Water Music (USA), Sommerset (NZ), Goldfinger (USA), Blueline Medic, Irrelevant, Day Of Contempt, Throwdown (USA), The Hope Conspiracy (USA), Mid Youth Crisis, Good Riddance (USA), I Killed The Prom Queen, Heartfelt Self, Bodyjar, H-Block 101, Identity Theft, Life Love Regret, Embodiment 12:14, Horsell Common and many more.

Away From Now have taken their energetic and intense live show to all corners of Australia. While building a loyal following across the country, the band have recorded three EP's. The first two EP's, 'How The Beau Monde Breathe' (2001) and 'Shadows Allude Invade' (2002) have both sold out of their first pressings. With the latest EP having been recorded in July 2003, titled 'Sic Semper Tyrannis', Away From Now are still promoting this EP as much as possible with gigs in as many locations and venues as is possible. The new EP was made possible with the assistance of Pete from Pee Records, and is distributed through Shock Records and if it is not in your local music store, get them to order it in.

Future plans for Away From Now include a five-way split, incorporating four other bands from different states in Australia; an album to follow shortly thereafter; and to continue touring across the country as much as possible. The future is definitely looking bright, with the potential for tours in Japan and New Zealand. Lets see what the future holds.
