Forming in the later half of 2001, Japunga have fast grown a reputation as being an extremely powerful and brutal yet positive act. With each member having many years of exerience in the music industry they have come together to form one of the most original heavy rock/metal acts in Australia. Singer/songwriter and guitarist Jef Carter has built the foundation of Japunga through hard, near death life experiences, misfortune and sadness. Circumstances that a lot of people can relate to out there in what is referred to as “The Real World”.
