After spending the past three years perfecting their sound, one of Australia’s finest hard rock acts, Sunk Loto, are back with a vengeance with the release of their new single ‘Everything Everyway’, which hits stores October 6.

Everything Everyway is the first single to be released from Sunk Loto’s highly anticipated second album, ‘Between Birth & Death’ which is scheduled for release 17 November 2003.

Everything Everyway is an enigmatic blend of modern hardcore and the timeless melodic sense that made heroes out of the likes of Mike Patton and Ozzy Osbourne. “The song’s about everything beautiful that’s left in the world – like a baby, pure and innocent and untouched” says frontman Jason Brown.

For Sunk Loto, their second album is definitely a rebirth. Recorded with the assistance of renowned producer Phil McKellar (Grinspoon, Silverchair, Spiderbait), ‘Between Birth and Death’ is the culmination of years of soul searching, whereby Sunk Loto devoted themselves to find a new sound. The result is a mindblowing display of power and a collection of songs that refuse to be confined by conventional ideas about what heavy music should be.

On their new album, Jason says ‘”We were really focused on finding our own unique sound, and that meant we had to find something fresh, and then really perfect it. We also wanted to speak the same language for the whole record, we wanted this to be our record… there’s a real focus, everything’s very intense, and that is definitely what we’re about now”.
