Just landed is the new Tascam ML-16D and the Tascam ML-32D is available to order. The Tascam ML-16D and ML-32D are new Analog/Dante convertors. These units will take an analog source and convert the audio signal for use in a DANTE network and vice a versa. This makes them the perfect choice for installs utilizing DANTE but also live sound environments that run on DANTE networks. These units can run up to 96 kHz and 24 bit for high quality audio conversion and use primary and secondary DANTE ports so can be set up for redundancy. Both units also feature 5 selectable reference levels which can accommodate to a variety of scenes for public address and broadcasting studios.
For years Tascam has produced high quality professional CD players. To accommodate the various demands of install and radio, Tascam have produced several different models with various functions. The CD-400U combines the most popular functions from Tascam's CD player range into a new "all in one" unit that should be able to service nearly all the demands that any install, radio station or live sound project could have. It obviously features a high quality slot drive CD player but also a USB and SD card slot for solid state playback. A Bluetooth receiver will allow it to be paired with any Bluetooth transmitter such as smart phone or tablet. There is an FM/AM radio tuner incorporated and the signal from either the CD or the Radio tuner can be reordered directly onto the USB or SD card. The rear of the unit has unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs as well as an RS232 port for remote control. The Tascam CD-400U will be available in Australia from the 30th of April.
