About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic and vibrant degree-qualified digital marketing professional with experience or interest in the creative arts such as music, media, video/film and events.

Specific responsibilities include handling logistics for marketing campaigns, product launches, events and strategic partnerships with our suppliers and our customers.

You are coordinating cross-functional team efforts, and assisting other team members by researching market trends, developing original copy for social media platforms, website content, direct mail and print advertisements.

You'll be tasked with ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels/verticals and copy editing marketing materials.

Reporting to:

VP of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications and experience:
  • A degree in marketing or communications and (copy)writing experience
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing including social media strategy, digital platforms and creative marketing techniques.
  • Previous experience working with in a high output sales and marketing organization; Project coordination; marketing or branding experience will be favourable.
  • Interest or creative experience in music performance/production, digital media and/or video.
  • Good understanding of advertising platforms, media and creation of unique content to drive reach

Your duties will include but are not be limited to:
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across all digital channels with our marketing team.
  • Ongoing performance reports plus testing, analysis and optimisation of ecommerce platforms and email marketing.
  • Preparation of briefs for our creative department, including all print advertising partners.
  • Copywriting across multiple channels and verticals. Develop a strong narrative for each business module.
  • Coordinating in-house influencer marketing
  • Coordinating b2b engagement activities - i.e. sales campaigns, end user driven promotions, contests and giveaways etc, driving metrics across all our marketing platforms.
  • Participate in the formulation of the marketing calendar to plan marketing objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs across our retail stores and channels
  • Establish differentiated channel growth strategies to increase brand awareness
  • Co-ordinate marketing objectives, policies and programmes and where appropriate, recommend standards, set targets and quotas
  • Closely monitor activity including advertising, store literature, launch, media spending and promotional activities, including competitors.
  • Within the steering committee, develop POS material and creative assets  
  • Work with sales team and customers to create impact for relevant marketing programs
  • Plan and coordinate the development and introduction of new products including marketing, EDM, events & content.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing team to support all our requirements (website, blog, social media assets, and more)
  • Undertake market research to stay ahead of the curve on the latest industry trends and deliver ahead of competitor offerings
  • Plan and manage the marketing budget and report on return on investment
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring commitment to the implementation of all activity
Work Requirements:
  • Monday-Friday Full Time at CMI head office, Brooklyn, Victoria with occasional after-hours work (events, launches etc) 
  • Some occasional interstate travels.
  • Computer and digital platform literate. Good understanding of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Own transport and driver's license a must.
