TASCAM’s DR-07mkII improves on one of the best-selling portable recorders ever with adjustable microphones, clear sound quality and a great new design. The stereo recorder features a pair of adjustable condenser microphones. The built-in cardioid pattern mics can be moved from an XY position, for tight imaging, to an AB position, for a wider ambient sound. Choose the best sound depending on the source and environment. New Tascam SS series recorders have arrived
The TASCAM SS series solid state recorders are designed for the Broadcast and Contractor markets and record in WAV & MP3 to Compact Flash, SD/SHC and USB memory.
The SS-R100 is down to basics with unbalanced and coaxial digital I/O only. This recorder supports the RC-20 direct play remote for up to 20 tracks of flash start.
The SS-R200 features parallel and RS-232C serial control balanced & unbalanced I/O, and coaxial digital I/O. It supports the RC-20 direct play remote for up to 20 tracks of flash start.
With the SS-CDR200, MP3 and audio CD formats are recorded to CD via a slot-loading transport. Parallel and RS-232C serial control - along with up to 20 tracks of flash start, balanced & unbalanced I/O, and coaxial digital I/O – make the SS-CDR200 an ideal one rack-space media solution.

TASCAM has been at the forefront of the music industry for over 30 years, developing products for every segment of the market from high-end audio professional equipment in major post production studios, to the novice or hobbyist at home. Tascam can be found in most broadcast and recording studios around the world and just about everyone in our industry can say that they have had a Tascam experience.
After virtually creating the home recording scene during the early 1970s, TASCAM went on to achieve recognition for pioneering products in the professional recording arena as well. Their legacy of product development and innovation is reflected in the sheer number of industry firsts they’ve achieved, including:
• The first 1/2-inch, 4-track recorder
• The first 8-track, reel-to-reel/mixer combo
• The first R-DAT recorder
• The first MiniDisc digital multitracker and CD scratcher
Over the last three years, CMI has had a vast amount of growth in both the hi tech and pro audio markets around Australia and - after winning International Distributor of the year for Native Instruments in 2010 – bringing a brand such as Tascam into the CMI fold was just a matter of time.
