The Vinci Strings story starts in 1953, when Amelio Vinci invented the first automated string-winding machine. This groundbreaking innovation eliminated manual processes and enhanced winding accuracy – resulting in even string tension and consistently better sound. Vinci’s invention revolutionized the string industry. Meanwhile, Vinci Strings continues to differentiate itself with the quality and gauging of its strings.
Now Vinci have expanded to incorporate a Brass, Woodwind and Orchestral instrument division, a collection of exquisite instruments that CMI is proud to announce its representation of in Australia.

Whilst aiming to cater for the student/ first instrument market, Vinci has ensured that its reputation for excellence has not been compromised with this range, which includes trumpets, cornets, trombones, horns, saxophones, sousaphones, tubas, flutes, violins, cellos, violas & double basses. The range is also very reasonably priced, enabling Vinci to be highly competitive amongst instruments of a similar quality. They also provide an affordable alternative to renting instruments which can prove to be costly over time.
As with their string division, Vinci’s small shop craftsmanship and attention to detail, supported by world-class processes ensure that strict quality control standards are met on every instrument.
All Vinci instruments are set up and supplied in a ready to play condition, and are of a high student standard offered at an affordable, competitive price.
Each instrument comes with a good quality, moulded, hard shell case and cleaning cloth and where appropriate, are also supplied with oil, neck straps, reeds and reed protectors.
